Project Details

A new hospital project was carried out in Istanbul’s İkitelli Region, Başakşehir, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Kiptaş A.Ş. The hospital boasts a closed area of 40,000 m2 and has a total of 7 floors, 2 basement floors, 1 ground floor, and 4 normal floors, with a capacity of 150 beds. The State Hospital project includes 5 operating rooms, two of which have laminar flow, intensive care units, emergency services and laboratories, MRI, mammography, tomography, ultrasound, x-ray, hepatitis B-C, blood center, general sterilization, morgue units, laundry, water tanks, engine room, gynecology, and rest areas. In addition, 18 outpatient clinics mainly focus on aesthetics, ECG, Holter, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology, biopsy, EMG, and internal medicine. The Emergency Service area has been designed to cater to the large population living in the region. Small-scale operations can also be performed here. The blood center has been designed to accommodate 5 people at the same time, with cooling and bloodstock areas arranged. Fire barriers have been installed on every floor and between floors in accordance with fire regulations. The hospital also has a Conference Hall with a Teleconference System, and surgeries can be watched live for educational purposes. An emergency sterilization unit for medical waste and equipment, as well as a textile-based sterilization system for all clothing and furnishings of patients and staff, has been established.
