The 1st comprised two submersible reinforced concrete tunnel passages, with an approximate length of 350 meters, and the lowest floor with a 1.50×2.00 section reinforced concrete rainwater drainage line. The project also included the construction of a multi-story intersection with a 2.50×2.00 section reinforced concrete rainwater drainage line, infrastructure, and superstructures of the roads connecting to the intersection, BSK, surface water drainage line, vegetative landscaping, and irrigation system, concrete paving, sidewalks and medians with curtains, pedestrian railings, horizontal and vertical traffic marking, and wastewater, drinking water, and Tedaş and Telekom lines displacement required for the intersection construction. All these aspects were completed between November 2005 and August 2006, providing a much-needed solution to Antalya’s infrastructure problem. The city’s face was given a modern and contemporary appearance, making it a more attractive destination for both residents and visitors.
