Project Details

Gazi Şucauddin (meaning the brave of Islam in religious context), built in the 16th century It was built on the main street of Rogatica, along with a bazaar, in the 16th century. The Şucauddin Mosque, built on a 186 m2 area to resemble its old appearance, has a capacity of 200 people including the entrance. The mosque fills up with people from surrounding villages every Friday. The mosque facilities consist of 4 shops, ablution areas, toilets, and a mortuary. Additionally, the problematic Imam’s house was restored and opened for service by acquiring the adjacent 3,000 m2 land along with the house on it.
